If the issue is the heater core, you should ensure you resolve it as quickly as possible or run the risk of the car incurring significant damage over time.<\/p>\n<h2>Hissing sound from heater core<\/h2>\n<p>If it sounds like you\u2019ve got a snake living under your bonnet and you don\u2019t live in a place where that\u2019s even a remote possibility, you\u2019ve probably sprung a leak in one of the hoses that connects the heater core to the rest of the engine.
